Enrollment Process

Chiquitos School has implemented an admissions process because of the belief that education is not a job, but a serious commitment to children and families. This process assists the school, and potential parents, to determine if they are a good match for each other.
The admission process is as follows:
  • Schedule a visit for a personalized tour for both parents if possible, to see a class in progress. Your child(ren) is (are) encouraged to come.
  • If the interest persists after visiting, potential parents are required to check references (list given by the school).
  • The formal admission process starts by submitting the pre-enrollment form and paying $120.00 non refundable registration fee.
  • When the pre-enrollment form is received, Chiquitos will mail the potential parents additional forms to be filled. Soon after, a separate letter will be sent to your child's current teacher or caregiver if your child is attending any educational center.
  • Upon receiving the information requested from both parents and teacher, an interview with both parents will be scheduled within two weeks.
  • The potential child will be invited to spend a ½ day at the school with the purpose to be observed in his/her social interaction with other children.
  • A notification informing you of the final status of your child's admission process will be mailed to the parents within a few days after the child visits Chiquitos.
  • After admission is completed, there will be a two month probation period to make sure that Chiquitos School and the family admitted are the right fit for each other.
The school also affirms its commitment to providing equal opportunities and equal access to all families enrolled. However, Chiquitos School reserves the right to deny services when deemed necessary.
